MindSafety are a Consultancy & Training organisation specialising in occupational safety culture change processes within industry, to encourage positive, safer workplace behaviours, sustainable in to the long term. Using knowledge and tools from the world of psychology and sociology, MindSafety takes safety to a new level.
The principals behind MindSafety were first conceived in the UK oil and gas industry around 1989. It was realised then that safety was a combination of people as well as systems, and despite having the best safety systems, it does not automatically follow that everyone will abide by them.
This is because behaviours are driven by an individual’s perceptions and beliefs at the time, which can influence their choices made in the workplace.
MindSafety specialise in influencing these beliefs, helping and supporting organisations through a step-change process toward developing a sustainable belief-based safety culture.
MindSafety challenges everyone to change their minds about safety, and to collectively contribute to moving toward a proactive and preventative attitude rather than a reactive one.
